Steven Bowman Profile
Steven Bowman has an extensive background in the nonprofit arena. He is one of the world’s leading governance and senior executive team specialists, having previously held positions as national executive director of the Australasian Institute of Banking and Finance, CEO of the Finance and Treasury Association, general manager of ExpoHire (Australia) Pty Ltd, assistant director of the Australian Society of CPAs, and director of the American College of Health Care Administrators.
Steven is a past president of the Australian Society of Association Executives and has held numerous other board positions. He is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, and a Fellow of the Corporate Law and Accountability Research Group.
Trained in both organizational management and as a behavioral scientist, Steve received his undergraduate degree in applied science, speech pathology, from La Trobe University, where he also completed a post-graduate degree in communication disorders. He completed his master’s degree from George Washington University, DC, in speech pathology, where he also completed a master’s degree in association management. He also earned a certificate in association management and an advanced certificate in association management at the Monash-Mt.Eliza Business School
Steven was the founder and associate program director of the certificate and advanced certificate in association management at Monash-Mt.Eliza Business School for eleven years.

Chutisa Bowman has 25 years of professional experience in management and operations of public companies in Australia. She currently holds the position of a director of ‘LifeMastery’ and ‘Conscious Governance’, based in Melbourne, Australia. Chutisa and her partner Steven currently consult with over one thousand Nonprofit and corporate organizations each year in the USA, Australia, New Zealand, and Asia>.
Chutisa’s previous executive roles include senior executive at a number of Australia’s largest publicly listed retail corporations (David Jones, Coles Myers - Target and K Mart), and a senior consultant with one of Australia’s most prominent usability and human factors specialist consulting firms. She has worked extensively with organizations such as Telstra, Australia Post, ANZ Bank, CSIRO, Authentic8, Mercantile Mutual, and the Department of Education, Employment and Training-State of Victoria
Trained as both a transpersonal and conventional psychophysical change facilitator, Chutisa received her undergraduate qualification from the IKON Institute in transpersonal counseling, her post-graduate degree from La Trobe University, Melbourne, Australia, in Ergonomics/Human Factors, and a master’s degree in counseling from Monash University, Melbourne Australia.
